Once authorized for easy check, all you have to do is swipe your Rewards Card and enter your PIN. Your purchase will be charged to your checking account as if you'd written a check. You avoid paying for a check, plus, you won't get charged any of the bank fees that might come with your debit card.

To apply for easy check privileges:

• Take a blank check from the account you would like to have connected and visit the Customer Service Desk at your neighborhood Shaw's or Star.

• Complete the application, void that blank personal check and give everything to Customer Service.

• Your application is processed.

Once your easy check application has been approved (approximately 2 to 3 weeks), you will be notified by mail to visit the store where you applied and select a confidential PIN (Personal Identification Number). Once you activate your PIN, you're IN.
